Defense, special teams lift WB-M
EVERLY – West Bend-Mallard cruised to a 58-6 victory over Clay Central-Everly on Friday night.
The Wolverines had two defensive and one special teams touchdowns.
Dexter Knobloch led the Wolverines (4-1 overall, 2-1 district) with three touchdowns. Knobloch had touchdown runs of 46 and 20 and recovered a fumble in the end zone for a score.
Michael Fehr had seven carries for 47 yards and a pair of two-yard touchdowns.
Fehr also threw a 55-yard scoring strike to Danny Riesenburg.
Thad Fogarty had four carries for 42 yards and a two-yard touchdown.
Trinton Schmidt returned a kickoff 77 yards for a score and Coleman Grimm had a fumble recovery in the end zone for a touchdown.
