Career night for Jaguar Johnson
GOWRIE — Nyles Johnson had a career night here Friday as Southeast Valley topped Shenandoah, 28-7.
Johnson rushed 23 times for 251 yards, scoring three touchdowns for the Jaguars (3-4 overall, 3-2 in district). The junior hit the end zone from 61, 38 and 2 yards out.
Kyler Fisher added 128 yards on 15 carries, including a 28-yard TD jaunt.
Southeast Valley had 387 yards of total offense, holding Shenandoah to just 182.
Next up for the Jaguars, who have won three of their last four, is Clarinda.
