Kilian (16-4) went the distance in the circle, allowing just three hits with three strikeouts.
"Mallory really stepped it up again," said FDSH head coach Andi Adams. "She said she felt a little off pitching-wise, but she was still able to power through it. That's just what a great leader does."
Astor was 3-for-4 offensively with three stolen bases and two runs scored in Game 2. Kilian added a double, while Lani Van Zyl chipped in a single and a run scored.

"Meagan moved the ball around a lot, and we made some very aggressive defensive plays," Adams said. "I just thought we stayed very calm. Marshalltown is always a hard place to play."
Defensively, the Dodgers turned a pair of double plays in the nightcap.
Fort Dodge will host Algona (11-14) in a 4A, Region 1 semifinal on Saturday. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. at Rogers Sports Complex.
