Elderbridge Agency on Aging is observing its 40th anniversary with a week of special events that begin Monday.
The schedule of events in the Fort Dodge office is as follows:
Monday: 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., A Matter of Balance intro and exercise; 10:30 a.m., nutrition presentation by the Elderbridge dietician; all day, congregate/home-delivered meal information.
Tuesday: 12:30 p.m., case management presentations; 1:30 p.m., pharmacist brown bag med review including non-prescription medications, door prize.
Wednesday: 10 a.m., New to Medicare talk; 11 a.m., emergency preparedness presentation; 2 p.m., drug drop disposal by Webster County sheriff's office and presentation by pharmacist John Daniel.
Thursday: 2 p.m., elder rights presentation.
Friday: 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., free blood pressure and blood sugar checks; health information, Webster County Public Health.
