WEBSTER CITY - WCF Financial Bank will hold a groundbreaking ceremony at 4 p.m. Wednesday for its new facility on Fair Meadow Drive, Webster City.
Those scheduled to attend the ceremony include the WCF board of directors, staff, contractors and city officials. WCF Financial Bank customers and other interested parties are also welcome to join in the ceremony.
"We are excited to break ground and begin construction," said Stephen Mourlam, WCF Financial Bank president and chief executive officer. "The new facility reflects our strong commitment to the future of Webster City and surrounding communities."

Mourlam said WCF Financial Bank will close its offices at 4 p.m. that day to allow all staff to participate in the groundbreaking. This includes both the lobby and drive up.
"The new building will provide an environment to improve our customer experience, support future growth of our institution and the services we provide," said Mourlam.
The new facility will feature green building materials, front door parking, a comfortable waiting area complete with a fireplace and easy access to the ATM and drive up facilities.
Since 1934, WCF Financial Bank has been operating as a financial institution providing a range of personal banking services to customers throughout Hamilton and surrounding counties. Current locations are 820 Des Moines St., Webster City, and at 305 First Street W. Independence, with ATM services at the Van Diest Medical Center and at the corner of Superior Street and Fair Meadow Drive in Webster City.
