Trinity Singers, a 40-plus member choir at Trinity United Methodist Church, will be present "Lord, How Great You Are" at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 21 and 9 a.m. Dec. 22 at the church, 838 N. 25th St.
"This beautiful cantata provides a powerful challenge for all who are in attendance, to share the glorious news of the birth of our Savior," said Director Armona Redenius. "With songs such as, 'Lord, How Great You Are,' 'Away in a Manger,' 'Shepherds Go Tell' and 'Shout for Joy with Mary Had a Baby,' you will be carried to the manger just as the shepherds and wise men were so many years ago."
This year's cantata will conclude with the Hallelujah Chorus, and the congregation will be invited to join in and sing.
Narration is provided by members of the Trinity Singers. Soloists for the cantata are Rhonda Wiley, Jason Laird, Annie Laird, Brian Murman, Lisa Flaherty, Beth Murman, and Nick Salmon. The cantata is accompanied by pianists Jared Feddersen and Lisa Flaherty, drummer Kevin Thompson, and flutists Dee Murman and Annie Laird.
