FD council forums set Thursday, Oct. 29

Candidates for the Fort Dodge City Council will answer questions from the public during two upcoming forums to be conducted by the Well-Informed Webster People.

The first forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Light of the City Conference Center, 2175 180th St. The candidates in Ward 2 (Steve Clayton and Councilman Don Wilson), Ward 3 (Councilman Dave Flattery and Richard Higgins) and Ward 4 (Councilman Kim Alstott, who is unopposed) will participate.

The second forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Light of the City Conference Center. Candidates for the two at-large seats (Councilman Andy Fritz, Jeffrey Halter and former Councilman Greg Nolting) and the Ward 1 seat (Terry Moehnke and Councilman Mark Taylor) will participate. Mayor Matt Bemrich, who is unopposed for a second term, will also participate.
