EMMETSBURG — Marguerite Wentzel and Nicholas Ohrtman, both of Blaine, Minn., were married July 20 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Emmetsburg.
Parents of the couple are Ted and Nancy Wentzel, Emmetsburg, and Stewart and Kathie Ohrtman, Ringsted.
Matrons of honor were Amanda Brown, Eagan, Minn., and Katie Morgan, Alta. Best men were Michael Somsky, Portland, Ore., and Ryan Ohrtman, brother of the groom, Albert Lea, Minn.
Bridesmaids were Ashley Opheim, Conrad, Mont.; Anne Wentzel, Roseville, Minn.; Andrea Ohrtman, sister of the groom, West Des Moines; Madeline Brown, Columbia, Mo.; and Alyssa Ohrtman, Albert Lea, Minn.
Groomsmen were T.J. Wentzel, brother of the bride, Conrad, Mont.; Michael Wentzel, brother of the bride, Roseville, Minn.; Matt Miller, West Des Moines; Adam Walsh, Ankeny; and Matt Guess, Des Moines.
Flower girls were Harper Guess, Pella, and Lucia Wells, San Francisco, Calif. Ring bearer was Bryson Ohrtman, Albert Lea, Minn.
The bride is a graduate of Iowa State University and earned her master’s and doctoral degrees from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She is a director of school counseling and clinical training at the University of Minnesota.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Iowa State University in agriculture studies. He is the international sales manager for AgLeader Technology based out of Ames, Iowa.
They honeymooned in Italy.
