Funds raised for Honor Flight

Members of Farnhamville American Legion Post No. 510 and Sons of Legion members donated funds from a soup supper fundraiser to Calhoun County Veteran Affairs to cover the cost of sending a World War II or Korean War veteran on an upcoming Brushy Creek Honor Flight out of the Fort Dodge Airport.

Three Legion members of Post No. 510 — Gerald Thomas, Robert Johnson and Duane Fredrickson — have applied and will be going on the May 11 Honor Flight.
