ROCKWELL CITY - The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is helping Rockwell City police investigate a burglary that happened at the Calhoun County attorney's office.
The incident was reported to police around 7:57 a.m. on Friday.
DCI Special Agent Jim Thiele said a variety of items were taken.
"They include a of couple laptops and an office chair as well as a surge protector," he said.
Thiele said the DCI was asked to help out in the investigation by Rockwell City police.
"Since it involved the county attorney's office, they were seeing if we could lend them a helping hand in this case," he said. "The DCI is an assisting agency in the state, and we help out in all 99 counties."
Thiele said no other information can be released at this time.
