Wagner joins ISU Extension office

Mary Jo Wagner has joined Iowa State University's Webster County Extension and Outreach as the program coordinator.

Wagner's previous employment experience includes sales and marketing as well as enrollment, recruiting and fundraising.

A native of the Fort Dodge area, she attended Fort Dodge Community schools, Iowa Central Community College and Buena Vista University with a focus in organizational leadership. Wagner serves as president of the Fort Dodge Parks Foundation board, serves on the Fort Dodge Parks and Recreation Commission, as well as a past Webster County Council member and IACEC representative.

As program coordinator, Wagner will develop, market and coordinate Webster County's Extension education program. ISU Webster County Extension and Outreach programs include economic development, health and well-being, K-12 youth outreach, food and the environment, and emerging issues.
