Garrigan edges H-D

ALGONA - The Bishop Garrigan boys held off Hampton-Dumont for a 47-44 victory on Friday night.

John Bruns paced the Golden Bears with 29 points.

Cole Miller led the Bulldogs with 13 points and Charlie Flickenger added 12.

Hudson Spedding led the Cougars (12-4 overall) with 20 points. Brody Eischeid was right behind with 17.

Holden Fiedler and Braden Moser had 10 each.

Jayden VanBerkum paced the Cyclones with 20 points.

Wildcats rally past Cowboys, 51-47

CLARION - Humboldt rallied past Clarion-Goldfield for a 51-47 victory on Friday night.

The Wildcats (12-3 overall, 11-3 North Central Conference) trailed at the end of every quarter, but outscored the Cowboys (6-12, 4-11) 17-11 in the final frame.

Jaxon Heinz led the Wildcats with 16 points. Bryan Larson had 15 and Brady Ross added 11.

Stephen McAtee paced the Cowboys with 12 points and Max Gangestad added 10.

EAGLE GROVE - Four Webster City players reached double figures as the Lynx beat Eagle Grove 66-43 on Friday night.

Boone Myers led the Lynx with 18 points. Mason Myers (15), Nick Olmstead (12) and Austin Myers (11) reached double digits.

Brandon Johnson led the Eagles with nine points.
