DAKOTA CITY — Kari Fisher and Nathan Dodd, both of Dakota City, were married Aug. 25, 2012, at John F. Kennedy Memorial Park.
Parents of the couple are Ron and Gale Fisher, Fort Dodge; and Jim and Linda Dodd, of Humboldt.
Maid of honor was Alicia Cobb, of Fort Dodge. Best man was Brandon Townsend, of Dakota City.
Bridesmaids were Kara Campbell, Ankeny; Gretchen Brown, Fort Dodge; Theresa Compart, Fort Dodge; and Suzanne Amundson, Burnsville, Minn. Groomsmen were Ben Dodd, Granger; Jason Andersen, Humboldt; Justin Hellickson, Humboldt; and Tom Nomann, Boone.
The bride is a graduate of Iowa State University and attends Buena Vista University, in Fort Dodge, pursuing a degree in management. She is a distribution specialist at Land O’ Lakes, in Fort Dodge.
The groom is a graduate of Iowa Central Community College, with a degree in welding. He is a plumber/HVAC installer with Sande Construction, in Humboldt.
The couple took a honeymoon to Moab, Utah.
