Igou charged with sexual abuse

POCAHONTAS - A sexual abuse investigation has led to a man facing felony charges in an incident from earlier this week.

Dana E. Igou, 28, of Curlew, has been charged with third-degree sexual abuse, a Class C felony.

Igou was arrested on Friday after a co-worker reported him to police.

Igou is accused of sexually assaulting the woman on Nov. 27 while they were at Brand FX, according to a statement from the Pocahontas County sheriff's office.

Brand FX is described as a manufacturing plant just outside of Pocahontas.

Igou was being held on $10,000 bond in the Pocahontas County Jail Friday.

The investigation was handled by the Pocahontas County sheriff's office, assisted by the Laurens Police Department and Pocahontas County attorney's office.
