All-NCC volleyball teams announced

Kaitlynn Vought, Kaylee Schnathorst and Ali Grein were all unanimous selections to the North Central Conference first team, the league announced recently.

Vought, a senior with Humboldt, had 108 kills and 32 blocks in helping the Wildcats place second behind state qualifier Iowa Falls-Alden.

Schnathorst, a junior for Webster City, recorded a league-best 154 kills. She was also second in digs with 158.

Grein, an Algona junior, had 111 kills this past season - third-most overall in the conference. She also had 34 blocks.

Clarion-Goldfield's Jossie Sann, a junior, was also named to the first team after recording 125 kills, which were second-most in the NCC.

The Lynx, Cowgirls and Bulldogs all finished tied for third in the standings.
