Mary Ann Lumsden, 80 of Fort Dodge, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 14th at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Pastor Erling Shultz officiating. Visitation will be Today from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include her son, Tony Lumsden and his wife Annette of Oskaloosa; daughters, Kathleen Nelson and her husband Jeff of Fort Dodge; Pamula Michelson and her husband Rick of Akron, OH; "her adopted daughter" Kathy Spal of Fort Dodge; step daughter, Patricia Brunia; 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
MARY ANN LUMSDEN
Mary Ann Nelson was born on January 1, 1932 in Stratford, IA. She was raised and educated in Dayton; graduating from Dayton High School in 1949. For a number of years Mary Ann worked at the Boston Store. On March 5, 1964, she was united in marriage to Loren Lumsden at the Chapel of Friendship Haven. The couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Mary Ann was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
