Tim Hancock, business manager for St. Edmond Catholic Schools, was the recipient of the Good Shepherd Award from R. Walker Nickless, the Bishop of the Diocese of Sioux City. The Good Shepherd Award was established to recognize non-teacher employees of Catholic schools who are held in high regard by peers, faculty, staff and students.
Hancock has served as the business manager for St. Edmond since 2000. In 2009, he took on the responsibility of also overseeing the Holy Trinity Parish administrative offices.
Hancock and wife Diane are the parents of Katey, Tim, Lucy and Michael all graduates of St. Edmond and Patrick, a junior at St. Edmond. They also have one grandson, Robbie.
Hancock will be honored along with four other award winners at the Bishop's Dinner on Oct. 14 in Sioux City.
