To the editor:

As a business owner in our community, I could not be more pleased with the progress our district and state have made in the past two years. Tim Kraayenbrink has played an integral part in creating a business climate that has been very positive for Fort Dodge and the surrounding communities. Since the Republicans have taken the majority in the Iowa Legislature in 2016, Iowa has been named the No. 1 state in the United States to live, work and raise a family. Iowa has the second lowest unemployment rate in the country, and we finally have a balanced state budget — not spending more than the revenue we bring in. Fiscally responsible leadership is necessary for a healthy state economy. Tim Kraayenbrink was also instrumental in supporting the largest middle class tax cut in our state’s history, allowing all of us to keep more of our hard earned money.

This is the kind of leadership we need in the Statehouse. I will be supporting Tim Kraayenbrink with my vote to keep Iowa moving forward.
