This is regarding a donation from Mikos and Matt Furniture of Fort Dodge to the Community and Family Resources’ Recovery House.

Community & Family Resources would like to express their sincerest of thanks to Mikos and Matt Furniture for donating a twin mattress and box spring to the Recovery House on S. 17th Street on Thursday, Aug. 9. We truly appreciate the support and generosity of such a great business. When asked for the donation, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and worked with us to gage what was needed. Thank you again for your support Mikos and Matt Furniture! You are such a great addition to the Fort Dodge community.

Community and Family Resources offers substance abuse, mental health, and problem gambling treatment and prevention services. Counties served by CFR include Boone, Calhoun, Franklin, Hamilton, Hardin, Humboldt, Pocahontas, Story, Webster, and Wright. In Fiscal Year 2017, CFR offered treatment services to 3,000 individuals and offered prevention services to schools, businesses, and community groups, reaching 13,000 individuals.
