Lauds Honor Flights
To the editor:
I want to congratulate and thank those behind the efforts to have Honor Flights for Vietnam veterans in your area. I have read that of the 2.8 million that served in Vietnam, less than 800,000 remain. Your efforts for The Greatest Generation was second to none, also. I am a Vietnam vet and have been to the Washington, D.C., war monuments. The healing I experienced at “The Wall” made my trip there an experience I will forever cherish. To offer our veterans this same opportunity is a blessing you can be credited for. Again thank you.
