To the editor:

On behalf of Trinity Cancer Center, we would like to thank the following providers: Dr. Carey Bligard, Dr. Shane Hopkins, Dr. Janet Secor, Dr. Johnathan DeJong, Dr. Leopoldo DeLucca, Dr. Matt Maggio and Dr. Nick Drzycimski for making our third annual Oral Head and Neck Cancer Screening on April 21 another successful event.

Each provider devoted their own time on that afternoon examining patients in the identification and prevention of oral head and neck cancers. We would also like to say a huge thank you to the ICCC Dental Hygiene Program for use of their facilities and to the 27 dental hygiene students under the direction of Renee Pieper, program director, for their amazing assistance to the providers. A total of 182 patients participated in the screening and due to the success of this program; we plan to continue providing community screenings to people in Webster Co. and the surrounding counties.
