AMANDA SUE DEAL

Amanda Sue Deal, 37, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Wednesday, the 21st day of September.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 29th, at 10:30 a.m. at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday September 28th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include daughter Adalynne Mikesell, dad Bruce Alexander, brothers Jacob (Meredith) Ayala and Isaiah Alexander, sisters Kayla (Levi) Ewing, Hanna and Allison Lara, grandmother Teresa Alexander and many nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Amanda was preceded in death by her mom Mickey Deal, grandparents Herbert and Betty Deal, grandpa Smokey Alexander.

Amanda graduated from Fort Dodge Senor High in 2004. She worked in long-term health care and childcare. Amanda enjoyed caring for others, cooking, and painting (although she was no Picasso). Her hobbies included night fishing with stinky chicken liver and playing fruit machines at the local watering holes. Amanda enjoyed celebrating Christmas starting in July. Her free spirit is unrivaled, and her humor will continue as part of her legacy. Taken before her time, Amanda will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
