Ellen is survived by her significant other Kirk Siefert; daughters, Katie Rees, Jodi Booge, Melissa Ostbloom, Molly Barlow and McKay Siefert; 13 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and her siblings, Vicki Turley, Bill (Sue) Posey, Ray (Linda) Posey and Randy Posey. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Ellen was born in Georgia to Raymond and Myrtle (Glover) Posey and had been together with Kirk for 28 years while living in Fort Dodge. Ellen enjoyed crafting and going to Friday night races. Her family was her world, especially her grandchildren.
