IONA M. BENZ
HUMBOLDT — Iona M. Benz, 98, of Dakota City, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021, at the Humboldt Care Center South.
Iona completed her journey to her heavenly home Sunday, May 9, 2021 at South Care Center in Humboldt, Iowa, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 98.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon, daughter Sharon, infant son, grandchild Rex and great-grandchild James and grandson Douglas.
She is survived by her children, Arlis (Alan) Kuchenreuther of Rolfe, Melvin (Linda) Benz of Humboldt, Phyllis Smith (Paul Bakken) of Moose Lake, Minnesota, Dale (Shawn) Benz of Humboldt Richard (Chris) Benz of Clear Lake; 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 15 great-great- grandchildren and brother Lawrence Davis of Gilmore City, Rollin Davis, Lloyd Davis, Doyle Davis, Eileen Lanning, Allen Davis.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the Service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12th at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Humboldt. www.masonlindhart.com
