MIKE KEHOE

A private Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2021, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Moorland. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lohrville. A visitation will be one hour prior at the church. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Michaela and son, Logan, both of Dakota City. He is also survived by his mother, Beverly of Callender; siblings, Steven Kehoe of Callender; Pat (Christi Herzberg) Kehoe of Ft. Dodge; Paula (Karl) Arnold of Norwalk, and Kristi Castenson of Harcourt.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Kehoe.

Michael Leo Kehoe was born February 6, 1969, in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated in Gowrie, graduating from Prairie Community High School in 1987. He then attended ICCC and Simpson College earning his BA in Business. Following his education, he first worked for Smithway and then Decker Trucking. On December 29, 1995, he was united in marriage to Jennifer Van Horn and they made their home in the Des Moines area. The couple later divorced. The family then moved to Humboldt in 2006 and made their homes there. For the past ten years, he has been working for Corteva, formerly Pioneer, in Renwick. Mike was a member of the Humboldt Community Chorus. Above all, he loved his family.
