ANNA MILLER

Anna Kathryne Miller, 91, of Manson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge, IA.

A private family funeral service and burial will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Manson, IA. Visitaton will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Anna is survived by children Patricia (Thomas) Ledford of Barnum, IA; Andrew Michael (Rachel) Miller of Rockwell City, IA; Martha (Bernie) Abbuhl of Red Oak, IA; Jane (Steve) Lawler of Ogden, IA; Joseph Miller of Rockwell City, IA; half-brothers Richard Mosbach of Dakota City, IA; Edward Mosbach of Webster City, IA; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren with two more expected this year.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and grandparents.

Anna Kathryne Miller was born on October 23, 1929 to Joseph and Martha (Angell) Mosbach. Anna’s mother passed away eight days after Anna was born. She was raised by her grandparents Jacob and Katherine (Bates) Angell. Anna grew up in the Manson area and graduated from Manson High School in 1948. Anna married Andrew Robert Miller on January 15, 1951 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Manson, IA. Together they raised five children. In her younger years she worked at the Manson State Bank but spent the majority of her life as a mother, homemaker and helped on the farm. Anna enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as cooking and baking for her family. Anna was a member of the St. Thomas Women’s Guild.
