POCAHONTAS — Eugene “Gene” Auten, age 65, of Pocahontas, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at the Pocahontas Community Hospital in Pocahontas, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at the Powers Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Iowa, with Msgr. Michael Sernett officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Pocahontas, Iowa.

Military Rites conducted by the American Legion –Post #18 of Pocahontas.

Visitation is from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM, Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at the Powers Funeral Home in Pocahontas.
