MATAYAH MCLOUGHLIN

Matayah McLoughlin, 18, of Fort Dodge died suddenly on Wed­nes­day, May 27, 2020 as a passenger in a single-car collision in Missouri. Service details are pending with Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Matayah McLoughlin, the daughter of Quincy and Tricia McCaleb and Robert Terrell, was born on August 2, 2001 in Fort Dodge, IA. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 2019. Matayah was a passionate cheerleader and a former member of the United All Stars. She loved to travel, spend time with her friends and family, and listen to music. Matayah was also a big fan of sleeping in, sometimes for most of the day. Matayah was loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Matayah McLoughlin is survived by her parents, Quincy and Tricia McCaleb; her biological father, Robert Terrell; her brothers, Amari McCaleb, Saiveon McCaleb, Kyler Friddle, and Robert Terrell Jr.; her sisters, Megan Terrell and Jasmin Terrell; her grandparents, John McLoughlin and Denise McCaleb; her great-grandparents, Les Miller and Joan McLoughlin; her aunt, Emily (Joe) McBurney and many more aunts and uncles; and several cousins.

Matayah was preceded in death by her grandma, Stacy McLoughlin; and her great-grandparents, Connie Miller and Raymond McLoughlin.
