ALICE MARIE QUICK

Alice Marie Quick, 92, of Fort Dodge, passed away March 18, 2020, at the Simpson Health Center at Friendship Haven.

Family interment services will be held at Colfax Township Cemetery with the Rev. Kendall Meyer officiating. A public service honoring Alice’s life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church or to the Good Samaritan Fund at Friendship Haven. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Alice is survived by her son Tim; her sisters, Lois Dencklau and Janice Kloss; her sister-in-law Dorothy Telschaw; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Mildred Bothe, Evelyn Quick and Delbert Telschaw.

Alice Marie Telschaw, the daughter of Walter and Olga (Hansch) Telschaw, was born February 1, 1928, near Vincent. She was united in marriage to Elmer Quick on April 24, 1949. They later divorced. On December 6, 1996, Alice was united in marriage to Tom Eisenhauer. They farmed near Fonda and he preceded her in death in 2013. Alice worked at Mercy Hospital, Trinity Regional Hospital and Grandview Care Center in Dayton. She attended St. Paul Lutheran Church and was very active within her church. She was an avid golfer and gardener and liked to go to dances.
