LUANN DUTCHER

LuAnn Dutcher, 65, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel in Fort Dodge. A time of gathering for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge. Burial will take place later that afternoon at the Highland Cemetery near Bayard, Iowa.

LuAnn is survived by her three daughters: Stacy (Bryan) Newman of Alexandria, Louisiana, Karri (Derek) Seaman of Muscatine, Iowa, and Trisha (Tom) Boubin of Sycamore, Illinois; 12 grandchildren; her brother Craig (Luann) Nekvinda of Fort Dodge and two sisters, Karen Jaycox of Fort Dodge and Connie Gardner of Henderson, Nevada. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Darrell Crosier.

LuAnn Nekvinda was born December 1, 1954, in Fort Dodge. She attended school in Fort Dodge and later received her GED. LuAnn graduated from DMACC with a degree in nursing. She worked in area hospitals and had retired in 2019 from Community Health here in Fort Dodge. LuAnn loved gardening, being outdoors, and her dog Zip.

LuAnn had been married to Bernie Halversen and the couple later divorced. In 1993, she married Darrell Crosier and they made their home in Coon Rapids, Iowa. Darrell died suddenly in April of 2007. LuAnn later married Bill Dutcher and they later divorced.
