JOYCE L. LOWINSKI

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 16, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Msgr. McCoy officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.

Survivors include husband Bill, daughter Linda Ann Lowinski of Deep River, son William John Lowinski of Middletown, DE, daughter Patricia Marie (Rodd) Larson of Fort Dodge, 6 grandchildren, and her beloved dog Anusha.

She was preceded in death by parents John and Leota (Sullivan) LaTour, brothers John Patrick LaTour and William LaTour.

Joyce Lorraine LaTour was born on September 26, 1938 in Superior Wisconsin. She attended St. Francis Xavier school there and later graduated from Superior East High School in 1956. Then attended the University of Wisconsin in Superior. On December 28, 1963, she was united in marriage to William “Bill” Lowinski. In 1977, the couple moved to Fort Dodge. Joyce showed and raised Alaskan Malamute dogs for over 40 years. She had well over 30 dogs she loved and cared for throughout her life.

Joyce was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, Twin Ports Obedience Club, lifetime member of NOWDA, Fort Dodge Kennel Club and Alaskan Malamute Club of WI. She was also an avid bowler and was a member of the 500 and the 600 Bowling Club. Joyce enjoyed camping and playing softball.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
