ANTHONY “TONY” J. JERMELAND

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Anthony is survived by his wife, Jayne; children, Cindy (Ned) Bacon of Colfax; Lori (Dennis) Summers of Dayton; Toni Jean (Justin) Deal of Coalville; Jon (Jen) Jermeland of Webster City; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Selmar and Ellen (Walsh) Jermeland.

Anthony Jon Jermeland was born May 26, 1944. He is a graduate of Saint Edmond High School. In March of 1966, Anthony married Sandy Stufflebean. The couple made their home in Fort Dodge. They later divorced. Anthony worked in autobody as a painter at Whelchel-Linder Auto Body for over 35 years. On August 22, 1980 Tony was united in marriage to Jayne Montgomery and the couple made their home in Evanston. Tony began working at Van Diest in 2002 and retired in 2008.
