Sean Mannel. 51, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Celeb-ration of Life Saturday, August 24th at 2:00 p.m., at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Saturday from 1:00 p.m., to 2:00 p.m. at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.

Among his survivors is his wife LeeAnn Mannel of Fort Dodge, daughter Brittany Skoland (Tom Brown) of Fort Dodge and their children Haley, Dawson. Marleigh, Linkynn, son, Travis Skoland of Fort Dodge, son Nickolas (Stephanie) Wilson and their children Lexa Lynn, Kayley and Kinzley, sister Nicole (Matt) McElroy of Fort Dodge; his mother Rebecca “Ruby” Mannel of Fort Dodge and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl John Mannel.

Sean Mannel was born on June 9, 1968 in Greenock, Scotland. As a young child he moved with his family to the United States. The family moved to Manson in 1979, where he attended schools. Following his education Sean worked at various restaurants as cook. For a time, he ran his own car detailing business. For the last several years Sean has worked with the guys at the “Home Tool-Box” Construction Co. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and dirt bikes with the grandkids. The most important thing in his life was spending time with his family.
