VIRGINIA M. ROBERTS

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2019 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Johnson officiating. Private burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Duncombe. A visitation will begin at noon Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

She is survived by her sons, William of Conifer, CO; Leonard (Diana) of Spring Hills, KS; David (Cindy) of Milford, IA; nine grandchildren, Kari; Billie; Mitch; Trenton; Ryan; Shanda; Nikki; Abby; Jessie; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Hanrahan of Fort Dodge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Vera (Curry) Hanrahan; husband, William in 1984; brothers, Ed; Jerry; Mick; Jack; sisters, Patricia O’Donnell; Bette Ruge and Donna Lessmeier.

Virginia Marie Hanrahan was born April 11, 1929 in Fort Dodge. She attended Corpus Christi Academy and graduated from high school in 1947. She was united in marriage to William Mitchell Roberts on October 30, 1948. She worked various jobs in the Fort Dodge area, most notably Fort Dodge Public School Lunch Program, Friendship Haven, Lazy Ike’s and for the Dr. Delucca Family. She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and a VFW Auxiliary Member.

Memorials may be left in the discretion of the family.
