ANN MACKEN

Ann Macken, 78, of Fort Dodge, died June 26, 2019 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2019 at Grace Luth­eran Church. Interment will be held in Callender Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Annabelle Lee Gustafson was born December 11, 1940. She graduated from Callender High School. On October 20, 1961 she was united in marriage to Michael Macken Jr. The couple made their home and raised their family in Callender. Ann enjoyed taking care of people and was employed as a nurse’s aide most of her life. She enjoyed embroidery work, Christmas baking, horseback riding, and time spent with family.

Survivors include her children Kevin Macken (Bill Rodriguez) of Des Moines, Paul Macken of Callender, Darlene (Bill) Dolph of Paton and Colleen Macken of Callender; her stepchildren Michael Macken, Pat Macken, Scott Macken and Christine Beeler; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Michael of 44 years in 2005, stepson Tommy, her brother Terry and sister Wanda.
