PAMELA J. PINGEL

Celebra­tion of Life will be held on Friday, May 17th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years Robert Pingel of Callender; daughter, Danielle (Sammy) Keck and their children, Kenyon, Cooper, Aryan all of Fort Dodge; mother, Judith A. Corell of Callender; sister, Kim (Kent) Peterson of Callender; brothers, Randy (Rene) Corell of Callender; and David (Jennifer) Corell of Gowrie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald E. Corell and her granddaughter, Myranda Keck.

Pamela Joan Corell was born on December 2, 1958 in Oelwein, IA. She was raised and educated in Callender. Pam graduated from Prairie Community High School in 1977. On July 17, 1982 she was united in marriage to Robert Pingel at Dolliver Park. The couple established their home in Callender. From 1990 till December 24, 2018 Pam worked as a nurse’s aide at Pearl Valley Rehabilitation in Gowrie. Pam enjoyed spending time with her cats and dogs. She truly loved to spoil her grandchildren. Pam was also an avid NASCAR fan who always rooted for Joey Logano her favorite driver.
