Joyce Ina Lott, 89, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Friday April 26, 2019, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Private services were held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel in Fort Dodge. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Joyce Ina Poindexter, the daughter of Delbert and Helen (Bowyer) Poindexter was born August 13, 1929 in Adel, Iowa. On July 29, 1951, Joyce was united in marriage to Delbert Lott in Adel. Joyce was employed at Bestwall Gypsum Company, Georgia-Pacific, and the Coats Company all in Fort Dodge. She was also employed by the Federal Government for 20 years.

Joyce is survived by her son, Arthur (Lumen) Lott of Oklahoma City, OK; a granddaughter, Lynn (Michael) Byrd and a great granddaughter, Elyssa all of Sierra Vista, AZ. She is also survived by a sister, Marie (Ernest) Blood of Metamora, IL; niece, Tam Blood and a nephew, David Blood. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Delbert Lott.
