Ethel attended Trinity Lutheran Church, Deer Creek, served on the Women’s Auxiliary, and the Women’s American Legion. Robert and Ethel retired in 1978.

For 25 years they loved driving their RV to spend winters in Mission, Texas. Ethel was a homemaker, helped farm, and 4H leader. She loved gardening, flowers, canning, quilting, knitting, crocheting, and many craft projects.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
