LAURENS — Dorothy J. Nelson, age 83, of Washington, IA, formerly of Laurens, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the Halcyon House in Washington, Iowa.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 11, 2019 at the United Methodist Church in Laurens, Iowa, with Larry Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at the Laurens Cemetery near Laurens, Iowa.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Powers Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel in Laurens, Iowa.
