Peggy J. Wille, 89, of Fort Dodge, died Monday, August 27, 2018, at Mercy Med­ical Cen­ter, in Des Moines.

A service honoring Peggy’s life will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 31, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Peggy is survived by her daughter Kim (John) Horrell, Fort Dodge; daughter-in-law Nancy Wille, Ankeny; grandchildren, Jeremy (Sara) and Scott; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Jack, Ava, Drew and Rachel; and her siblings, Bill Kane and Patricia Hutson, both of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John and her son Jon.

Peggy Jeanine Kane, the daughter of Edward and Fern (Dawson) Kane, was born February 1, 1929, in Fort Dodge. She attended Fort Dodge schools. Peggy was united in marriage John Wille in 1948, in Fort Dodge. Peggy was employed in food service at Iowa Central for several years. She also provided food samples at Walmart for Advantage Food Service and operated Wille’s Lounge in Clare.

Peggy was an avid cook, was a generous person and loved her cat, Candy. Peggy treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren and loved her family very much.
