LEOLA “BELLE” JEFFERS RICE

Funeral Services will be Wednes­day, Aug­ust 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Historic Bruce Fun­eral Home in Fort Dodge. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. A luncheon will be served at Rolling Hills Community Church immediately following the graveside services.

Belle was born and raised in Fort Dodge and lived most of her life here. She was united in marriage to Russell A. Rice and to this union four children were born; Beverly, Betty, Susan and Russell Charles. She worked for Central Lab, and Phillips Electronics in Fort Dodge, retiring in 1985. Belle was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Opal Jeffers, her husband Russell, daughter Beverly, and her siblings; Clarence, John, Dale, Lyle, Edward, Delores, Betty and Shirley Mae.

She is survived by her children; Betty Lou (Larry) Roberts of Walnut, Ia, Susan Gail (Rodney) Irwin of Fort Dodge and Russell Charles (Peggy) of Dakota City, Ia. 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Elmer Jeffers, Adrian Jeffers, Irma Darlene and Kay.

Memorials will at the discretion of the family.
