DONALD GLEN RINEHART

Donald Glen Rinehart, 81, of Fort Dodge, died on Monday, 18 June 2018 at the Southfield Wellness Center in Webster City, Iowa. The family will receive friends On 27 June, from 1:00-2:30, at Boman Funeral Home in Webster City (www.Bomanfh.com) followed by A Celebration of Don’s Life at 2:30 PM.

Don was born 29 March 1937 in Orthel Township, Hancock County, Iowa, to Glen Levere and Myrtle Margarette (Moon) Rinehart. Don had seven older sisters and a younger brother. He followed his father on the Orthel farm and later worked for Britt Tech and Farmers Insurance.

He married Doris M. Horton on 16 September 1989 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. They made their long time home in Fort Dodge until his death.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

Surviving him are his wife, Doris, his sisters, Eleanor (Elwyn) Stenzel, Norma (David) Harrison, Mavis Nedved, and Marilyn (Edwin) Welch; his brother, Robert of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and his three children from his first marriage: Bradley of Phoenix, Arizona, Barry of Payson, Arizona, and Tracy (Jody) Clow of West Linn, Oregon, his seven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
