POCAHONTAS — Debra L. Schendel, age 57, of Pocahontas, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017, at the Pocahontas Community Hospital in Pocahontas, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 18, 2017, at the Hope United Methodist Church in Pocahontas, Iowa with Pastor Kris Frank officiating. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery near Havelock, Iowa. Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church on Monday prior to the service.
