POCAHONTAS — LeRoy A. Arends, age 87, of Pocahontas, Iowa passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at the Pocahontas Community Hospital in Pocahontas, Iowa.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Pocahontas, Iowa with Pastor Elton Jorde officiating. Burial will be in Summit Hill Cemetery in Pocahontas, Iowa with military rites by the American Legion Post #18 Pocahontas, Iowa. Visitation is from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Pocahontas, Iowa.
