CAROLYN AMENDT

Carolyn Amendt, 64, of Fort Dodge, died January 31, 2017.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Carolyn June Blunt, the daughter of Melvin and Patricia (Payne) Blunt, was born November 7, 1952 in Fort Dodge. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High and served in the U.S. Navy. Carolyn was married to Mike Amendt and the couple later divorced. She was employed many years with Motorola.

Carolyn is survived by her son Shane (Crystal) Amendt of Libertyville, IA; her granddaughters Mikeala and Morgan; her siblings, Lane (Ranee) Blunt of Batavia, Melva Dominguez of Colorado Springs, CO, Jackie (Doug) Baker of Fort Dodge, Wendy (Dave) Coleman of Mansfield, TX and Holly (Mark) Shipman of Haslet, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Nancy Blades.
