POCAHONTAS — Donald J. Farrell, age 96, of Pocahontas, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017, at the Laurens Care Center in Laurens, Iowa.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2017, at the Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church in Pocahontas with Father Paul Bormann officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Pocahontas, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2017, at the Powers Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Iowa.
