DELORES L. MILLER

MANSON – Delores L. (Onnen) Miller, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 6th, 2014 at Thunderbird Hospice of the Valley. She was born on October 3rd, 1923 in Manson, IA, to Henry and Caroline (Berner) Onnen. On July 6th, 1941 she married Everett E. Miller. Her husband of seventy-two years survives along with eight children, Dennis (Marian) Miller of Sun City, AZ, Charlotte (Sam Porcelli) Egli of Sarasota, FL, Duane (Vickie Kauffman) Miller of Show Low, AZ, Janet (John) Elliott of Goshen, IN, Michael (Deb) Miller of Isanti, MN, and Neal (Madonna) Miller of Manson, IA; sister Phyllis (Lowell) Fevold of Dakota City and brother Ronald (Delores) Onnen of Rochester, MN. She also had twenty grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers and two sisters. After many years of farming in Manson, IA, she and her husband made their home in Sun City for seventeen years. In 2012, they moved to Glencroft in Glendale. She enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening, making quilts, solving crossword puzzles, and playing Scrabble, as well as spending time with her family. She received her AA degree from Iowa Central Community College in Ft. Dodge, IA after raising most of her family. She was a member of the West Olive Church of Christ. A visitation will be held at Green Acres Glendale Mortuary 5830 W. Missouri Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301 on Friday, January 10th, 2014 from 9am to 10am with services starting at 10am.
