Gowrie woman transported after crash

GOWRIE — A Gowrie woman was transported to UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge after driving into a corn field Monday night.

Alexis Morgan, 18, was transported by ambulance with complaints of leg pain after driving into a corn field near the intersection of Garfield Avenue and 320th Street in her Chevrolet Impala, said Deputy Mike Kenyon with the Webster County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash was reported at 10:36 p.m.

No citations were issued. Kenyon said her vehicle was left undamaged.

The Webster County Sheriff’s Office, Southwest Webster Emergency Medical Service, Gowrie Fire Department and Fort Dodge Fire Department responded.
