Rolfe man arrested on drug charges after traffic stop
ROLFE — A Rolfe man driving with a flat tire was arrested on several drug and traffic charges Tuesday morning.
Micah Aden, 19, was initially arrested on prior warrants and had a suspended license from non-payment of fines and for being a habitual violator, according to criminal complaints.
After Aden requested that the arresting officer get his key out of the vehicle, the officer said he noticed a marijuana pipe in plain view with a strong marijuana odor, as well as marijuana wrapped in a cigarette pack’s cellophane.
Aden is charged with possession of marijuana third offense, an aggravated misdemeanor; possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor; driving while suspended (six counts), simple misdemeanors; operating with a defective tire, a simple misdemeanor; minor in possession of alcohol, a simple misdemeanor; and operating with a defective windshield, a simple misdemeanor.
Aden also had outstanding warrants in Humboldt County. He is held in Pocahontas County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
