Graettinger man charged in assault

GRAETTINGER – A man has been charged with assault following an incident Monday.

Timothy L. Schultz, 57, Graettinger, is facing one count of serious assault and one count of aggravated assault.

According to the Palo Alto County sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a call at 306 N. Van Gordon. When they arrived, investigators learned an assault had happened at the residence.

Shultz was taken to Palo Alto County Hospital with injuries he received during the incident. He was arrested a short time later.

Two other victims declined medical treatment.
